17/05/19, 14*53 MIART / OBJECT, WHERE ART MEETS DESIGN - thesignspeaking Pagina 4 di 17 http://www.thesignspeaking.com/11643-2/ OBJECT, WHERE ARTE MEETS DESIGN miart is delighted to welcome five first-time participants in the Object section this year, Frank Landau from Frankfurt and Stockholmmodern from Stockholm together presents a showcase of outstanding historic and contemporary works, including pieces by Frida Fjellman, Martin Schlotz, Estrid Ericson and George Nakashima to name just a few; Taste Contemporary from Geneva stage a dialogue between the woven wall panels by British textile artist Ptolemy Mann and new works by New Zealand ceramicist Virginia Leonard; Galerie Marc Heiremans from Antwerp shows a selection of rare and iconic 20th Century Murano glass; and Eredi Marelli, Cantù, presents a solo show of important furniture by Italian architect and designer Paolo Buffa focusing on his work from 1940s. We welcome back to Object Galleri Feldt from Copenhagen, who combines significant historic works of Danish furniture with contemporary pieces from the gallery’s ongoing collaboration with Vitamin Creative Space in Beijing.
